Heather was born and raised in Oconomowoc. She graduated from the barber/cosmetology apprenticeship program at WCTC and has been doing hair for over twenty years. Heather offers hair cuts, colors, styles, hair bond building treatments, hair extensions, and facial waxing. She is a master colorist using Alfaparf Milano, Pulp Riot, and Joico. Heather is also an extension expert in Cinderella Hair beaded weft extensions. She makes it a priority to keep up with continuing education and certifications to stay current with the latest trends. Heather loves to perform gray blends and help people make changes in their hair and find their favorite cuts and colors that will suit them, their face shape, coloring, and lifestyle. She uses mainly Milkshake products to help her clients achieve their style.

After working in two different salons during hair school and after graduation, Heather decided to venture out and rent a chair. She always knew, however, that owning her own salon is her ultimate goal. In 2017 Heather opened her first 1,000 square foot, 7 chair salon downtown Oconomowoc. After five years, The Hair District outgrew that space and renovated the current location with over 5,000 square feet with twelve open-concept chairs and twelve suites.

Heather is married with two adult stepdaughters, and a son. She is the oldest out of five children with everyone still in the area. Two of Heather’s sisters own Roots Coffeebar and Café located in downtown Oconomowoc. The love Heather has for her clients and coworkers is beyond words!

Sherry loves doing color, and corrective color. She has been in the cosmetology industry since 2004. Sherry apprenticed through WCTC while working at Lake Country Salons. She came to The Hair District in 2018 and really enjoys all her co-workers and the atmosphere! Sherry specializes in colors, corrective color, cutting, and facial waxing. She is married with three children and two dogs. When not in the salon, she loves being outside, hiking, and trying all the new local restaurants and boutiques.

Angie, or Ang, as fellow stylists know her, has been doing hair for 20+ years. She prides herself on a strong understanding of a clients lifestyle to help guide them toward styles and colors that will function best in their lives. Caring for and helping people has always been Liv’s main goal. She started her career as a nurse in Hungary, moved to America 20+ years ago, and has been working in a salon setting ever since. Tiffany was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and grew up between southern Illinois and southeastern Wisconsin. She attended cosmetology school at the Advanced Institute of Hair Design aka Vici Capilli. Tiffany has been in the business for 10 years and couldn’t imagine doing anything else. She offers a plethora of services between haircuts, color, highlights, and balayage. While she loves doing most forms of color services her favorite would have to be a good old fashion highlight/foilage. She uses Moroccan Oil and Unite products to maintain optimal hair health. Ashley started her hair stylist career after graduating from Martins Cosmetology College in Madison, WI in 2007. She worked in full-service salons for many years before finding her true passion for doing men’s haircuts in 2013. She has strived to be the best barber she can be, taking pride in her ability to do fades, straight edge shaves, waxing, and keeping up with modern men’s trends.

Sarah is a licensed massage therapist and licensed electrologist. She has been in the industry since 2019. Sarah specializes in Swedish massage, deep tissue, relaxation therapy, and permanent hair removal. She has always been interested in how the body works and traditional healing practices as a massage therapist. Sarah has a passion for helping others achieve optimal wellness. She believes massage therapy is a great way to promote relaxation, reduce stress, and ease pain. As an electrologist, Sarah enjoys helping people remove unwanted hair so they can look and feel their best. In addition to massage and electrolysis, she also enjoys making all-natural soaps. Kayleigh was born in Germany but raised in Wisconsin. She graduated from Paul Mitchell Cosmetology School in 2009 and has been serving the Lake Country area for the past 14 years! Kayleigh specializes in blonding (highlights, balayage, baby lights, etc.) but is also constantly striving to stay up to date on the newest techniques so that her clients feel beautiful and confident! She also does facial waxing, both men’s and women’s cuts, hair detox, deep conditioning services, and styling! She is also Olaplex certified.

Jenny is a longtime Oconomowoc resident, graduated from Paul Mitchell in 2011 and has been working as a stylist for over 14 years, including 5 years managing salons. She ventured out on her own at the end of 2023 to the Hair District and it's been amazing since! Her skills cover a variety of services, from cutting and coloring to waxing, styling, treatments, and now extensions. She specializes in keratin bonded hair extensions, and uses 100% human remy hair from Cinderella Hair.

Sarah, also known as Alex, has been in the industry for 28 years. She spent the last 27 years doing hair in the Milwaukee area. As a stylist, she spent 20 years working for a family-owned salon and the past 7 as a small business owner renting a space in MKE specializing in color. She is a maven for hair color, cutting, and keeping up the integrity of your beautiful, healthy hair.

Sarah Alex, her three beautiful teenage daughters, and her husband have been newer to the Oconomowoc area since 2020. She looks forward to immersing herself in the community and meeting new clientele.

Stephanie was born in Kenosha, WI, and grew up in Minocqua, WI. After graduating from Martins College of Cosmetology in Green Bay, she spent a year earning her hair-cutting chops living and working as a hair stylist in Chicago. To be closer to family, she eventually found her way to Milwaukee where she managed and trained a large team of stylists, worked as a product educator, and as an independent hair stylist for the last 22 years.

She moved to beautiful Oconomowoc one year ago and is so thrilled and excited to bring her knowledge of hair coloring, highlighting, women's and men's haircuts, and hair styling to the community. We are going to have so much fun!!
